Showing items 2170 through 2178 of 73563.This Act amends the RONWAN Distribution Act with respect to, among other things, the Winding Up of the Nauruan Land Owners Royalty Trust Fund and the administration by the Nauru Rehabilitation Corporation of the Long Term Investment Fund established pursuant to S. 62(1) of the Constitution.
This Act amends the Land Sales Act in provisions concerning land acquired by non-residents. The Act modifies the definition of "resident" and inserts a new section (7A) on acquisition of State or freehold land within town borders by non-residents for residential purposes.
For the purpose of the present Act "Intergovernmental Agreement" means the Northwest Territories Intergovernmental Agreement on Lands and Resources Management between the Government of the Northwest Territories and the Aboriginal Parties that was made on February 27, 2014; and "Aboriginal Party"
