La presente Ley tiene por objeto adoptar con carácter urgente y transitorio disposiciones en materia de régimen de suelo y ordenación urbana, con la finalidad de completar el régimen urbanístico de la propiedad del suelo establecida en la legislación estatal y regular la actividad administrativa en materia de urbanismo y suelo.

This Act provides for the granting of various rights relative to prospecting and mining of minerals, for environmental obligations related to mining operations and other duties of persons carrying out mining operations, and control of mining operations. “Minerals” is defined so as to exclude petroleum ,as defined in section 2 of the Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act, and public and private water when used for a primary, secondary or tertiary use, as defined in the Water Act.

This Regional Law establishes cases of allotment of public and municipal land parcels free of charge to natural persons for individual housing construction and smallholding to the following categories of citizens: (a) citizens with three or more children under 18 years of age; (b) young families, and single parents of maximum 35 years of age; (c) persons in need of improvement of housing conditions. Allotment of land parcels free of charge to the aforesaid categories shall be performed once-only.

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the assessment of land value. In particular, article 2 contains details relating to the calculation of land value. The text consists of 4 articles.

The Decree provides the regulation for redistribution of abandoned, denuded, mountainous lands or uncultivated lands to households and families in order to increase their agricultural productions. Households and families shall be assigned with those lands the right to use them and cultivate them.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the taxation of land in Austria. Article 1 establishes that domestic real property is subject to property tax. Domestic real property is, inter alia, agricultural and forestry land and agricultural and forestry enterprises. Article 2 lists cases for which no land tax has to be paid.
