This Act makes provision for local government in Ghana and the promotion, conservation and development of customary law.There shall be a National House of Chiefs, which shall be instrumental in the development and conservation of law relative to chieftaincy and customary law.

This Act provides for the preservation of ancient and historical monuments and archaeological sites and remains of national importance and for the regulation of archaeological activities in Arunachal Pradesh.The Government will have the power to declare ancient monuments or archaeological sites, etc. to be protected monuments or protected areas.

The Land and Marine Management Strategy for Grenada is a national strategy adopted by the Government of Grenada in 2011 to guide the management of the land and marine sector. The overall goal of the Strategy is to achieve integrated national development that is environmentally sustainable.

This Act provides for the expropriation and taking for use of land and other property (movable or immovable), by the Minister of Public Works or by certain local authorities, for public and certain other purposes. Notice of expropriation to owners as well as offers of compensation must be made.

These Regulations further implement in Scotland the requirements of Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources. The objective of the Directive is to ensure that measures are taken to reduce and prevent nitrate pollution from agricultural sources.

These Regulations make various amendments to the Land Registration Rules 1972 to 2009 in relation with, among other things, forms, directions that may be given by the Property Registration Authority, form and contents of registers, registration of property and tenancies and legal proceedings.

The construction, operation and maintenance of works for the removal of obstructions, improvement of rivers and foreshores and the prevention of erosion of lands by tidal and non-tidal waters shall be approved by the Marine Ministerial Holding Corporation and carried out by the Constructing Authority.

The Regulation establishes certain conditions and criteria for the transfer of the ownership or right of use of land, houses, vehicles and household equipment. Further provisions concern the determination of the selling prices, the rights and obligations of purchasers, lessees or successors.

This Decree establishes maximum allowable limits of concentration of total amount of quicksilver and arsenic in soil of different categories: (a) inhabited areas; (b) industrial areas; (c) transport and engineering infrastructure land; (d) recreational land; (e) agricultural land; (f) special purpose land; and (g) other territories.

These Regulations make various amendments to the Land Registration Rules 1972 to 2008 in relation with, among other things, forms, modification of examination of title, applications for the registration of title by public authorities, registartion of easements and land on the foreshore.
