Harakat

Harakat Afghanistan Investment Climate Program is a non-profit organization working to make it easier to do business in Afghanistan. The organization works closely with government, civil society and private sector partners across four key areas.

Harakat follows on the successes of Harakat Afghanistan Investment Climate Facility, a program funded by the UK Department of International Development (DFID) from 2009-2015. This program's 36 projects laid the foundation for a better business environment in Afghanistan.

Hen Mpoano

Hen Mpoano (Hɛn Mpoano) is a not-for-profit organization legally registered in Ghana since 2013 and based in Takoradi in the Western Region. Between 2009 to 2013, we existed and operated as Coastal Resources Center- Ghana, with affiliation to the Coastal Resources Center of the University of Rhode Island, USA. During this period, we led the implementation of the USAID-funded Integrated Coastal and Fisheries Governance (ICFG) Initiative for the Western Region of Ghana.

 

ClientEarth

ClientEarth is an environmental law charity, with offices in London, Brussels, Warsaw, Berlin, and Beijing. It was founded in 2008 by James Thornton. As lawyers and environmental experts, they use the law to hold governments and other companies to account over climate change, nature loss and pollution

In 2017, ClientEarth was named the most effective environmental group by green leaders. In 2012 BusinessGreen gave ClientEarth its NGO of the Year award. In 2013 ClientEarth was awarded the Law Society's LSA Award for Excellence in Environmental Responsibility.

Friends of the Nation

FoN

Friends of the Nation (FoN) is a non-profit-making, non-governmental organization (NGO) involved in socio-environmental advocacy that was established in October 1993 and headquartered in Adiembra in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region of Ghana.The organization has three program areas namely, Natural Resources Management, Community Development and Enterprise Development.

IBI is an international economic development consulting firm dedicated to improving people’s lives. Founded in 1996 by Dr. Lucie Phillips, IBI is a woman-owned small business headquartered in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia.  IBI provides insightful analysis and practical, timely solutions to challenges facing governments, civil society organizations, and companies. Their experience has shown that the value of fresh ideas lies in their local implementation.

The Indonesia Climate Change Trust Fund (ICCTF) is a key instrument of the Government of Indonesia in reducing emission intensity and greenhouse gases emission through actions of low carbon development and adaptation on climate change impact. ICCTF also strives to integrate climate change issues into Development Plans at the national, provincial and regional level as well as implementing the initiatives on climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Africa Wildlife Foundation

AWF

The African Wildlife Foundation, together with the people of Africa, works to ensure the wildlife and wild lands of Africa will endure forever. Founded in 1961 at the height of the African independence movement, AWF (then known at the African Wildlife Leadership Foundation) was created to help newly independent African nations and people conserve their own wildlife. AWF’s first approach was to train and educate African conservation professionals.

ENDA PRONAT

Founded in 1982, ENDA Pronat promotes climate resilient and sustainable rural development in Senegal by accompanying local communities, especially women and youth, to gain and maintain control over their lands and resources and use these sustainably for future generations. It does this through a combination of action-research, rural extension and agroecological training with farmers and women’s groups, and public education and policy work through advocacy with local and national authorities.

Rural Development Centre

RUDEC

The Rural Development Centre (RUDEC) is a Community based Organization with a mission to promote Private/Public Partnership in the deep countryside of the South West Region of Cameroon. 

It was created in 1995 and filed for official approval in August, 2002 in accordance with Law No 92/006 of August 14th and its Decree of Implementation No. 92/455/PM of 23rd November 1992 in Cameroon relating to the creation of Cooperatives and Common Initiative Groups.
