Property boundaries have a significant importance in cadaster as they define the legal extent of the ownership rights. Among 3D data models, Industry Foundation Class (IFC) provides the potential capabilities for modelling property boundaries in a 3D environment.
This report aims to provide a conceptual framework to address food security under conditions of water scarcity in agriculture. It has been prepared by a team of FAO staff and consultants in the framework of the project `Coping with water scarcity: the role of agriculture?, and has been discussed at an Expert Consultation meeting organized in FAO, Rome in December 2009 on the same subject.

Fragility has become the reality in several countries of the Middle East and North Africa. Armed conflict and forced displacement are taking an enormous toll on human lives, with the region accounting for about 60 percent of the estimated global total of battle-related casualties since the turn of the millennium.
Distinguishing between the ecosystems’ capacity to generate ecosystem services (ES) and the actual use of these service (ES flow) in ES assessment and mapping is important to develop an understanding of the sustainability of ES use. This study assesses the spatial variation in ES capacity and flow in the Mediterranean small island state of Malta.
The aim of article is assessment the impact of the affiliation of the country to the EU-15 or EU-12 on agricultural land productivity and its price. The tasks of article are evaluation of intensity in agriculture in the countries EU-15 and EU-12 and evaluation of differences in land productivity and its prices between EU-12 and EU-15 countries in years 2007−2013.
These Regulations apply to certain public agricultural land, namely to land that belongs to the Government and which is mainly let for the growing of crops, flowers, fruit-trees or vines and for cognate agricultural purposes. These provisions regulate the transfer and lease of such agricultural land.
These provisions lay down some amendments to the Industrial Emissions (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control) Regulations as regards coordination of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority with other competent authorities.
