   This Regional Act aims at the promotion and development within Toscana of social agriculture, which refers to activities carried out by agricultural entrepreneurs, as defined under article 2135 of the Civil Code. Article 4 sets up the Regional Observatory on Social Agriculture; article 5 provides for the registration of related agricultural lands.

In particular, the Act deals with subsidies to be granted for the improvement of such territories, particularly as regards the management of sylvopastoral resources. Further provisions concern the expropriation procedures to be applied, the institutional framework and the procedures for adopting the reclamation plan.

   This Provincial Act sets out the legislative framework governing the management of public lands destined to public uses, particulary agro-forestry and silvopastoralism. The Act aims at the environmental protection and economic development of those lands. The Act further regulates the right of use of these public lands. Special provisions are laid down with respect to the Regole of Spinale and Manez, referred to in Provincial Act No. 12 of 1960.
