O racismo e o machismo estão presentes em todas as esferas da sociedade. Na cultura, na política, na educação, na saúde. A distribuição de bens e serviços é racista, a construção das cidades é racista. No Entanto, na tentativa de ir contra isso, as mulheres se organizam coletivamente construindo alternativas outras para viver nas cidades e ocupar espaços que historicamente nos foram negados.
