This Act modifies the law relating to the avoidance of future interests in property on grounds of remoteness and governing accumulations of income from property. The rule against perpetuities shall not apply to an option to acquire for valuable consideration an interest on the term of a lease if: (a) the option is exercisable only by the lessee or his or her successors in title, and (b) it ceases to be exercisable at or before the expiration of one year following the determination of the lease.

This Act: limits the application of the rule against perpetuities also in relation to lands; codifies the rule as it applies to charities; and amends the law relating to accumulations of income.

The present Act provides for the designation of areas to be parts of provincial parks and provides for the management of such parks. The Act covers also the appointment and powers of park wardens, the protection of flora, prospecting and mining and enforcement measures. The text consists of 23 sections and 1 Schedule.

This Act repeals the Tonga Electric Power Board Act (CAP.93) and provides rules of transition in relation with such repeal. Notwithstanding the repeal, at the date of coming into operation of this Act any licence granted under the Tonga Electric Power Board Act (CAP. 93) shall continue to be valid on such terms and conditions of approval for the period stipulated therein.

This Act released the restrictions made on any grant issued by the Crown prior to January 1, 1990. Restrictions may affect clear, cultivate, seat, enclose, dyke, repair or maintain dykes, improve, sow, plant, sow or plant specified crops or drain the land; dig a stone quarry or other mine or cut wood or employ labour in digging any stone quarry or other mine or in the cutting of wood; and keep or put neat cattle on the land. This Law, consisting of 6 Chapters, aims at regulating the territorial planning of Mozambique, in order to guarantee the organization and sustainable use of the environment. It establishes regulations for the following sectors: General provisions (Chap. I), Territorial Management System (Chap. II), Territorial Planning Tools (Chap. III), Citizen Rights and Obligations (Chap. IV), Evaluation, Monitoring and Inspections (Chap. V).

This Act makes provision for a wide variety of matters regarding public and private land and community land (as defined respectively by Articles 62, 63, 64 and 260 of the Constitution), and in particular provides of the sustainable administration and management of land and land-based resources. It also provides for (compulsory) acquisition of land.

These Rules, made under section 11 of the Commonage Act, concern commoners in the Rock Sound area. The Rules require commoners to register with the Commissioner.

These Rules, made under section 11 of the Commonage Act, concern commoners in the Tarpum Bay district. The Rules: allow a commoner to take up abandoned land of another commoner for cultivation; set limits for the proximity of cultivation on land bordering land of another commoner; provide rules for the setting fire to fields and provide for arbitration in case of damage; place restrictions on the sale of land by commoners; require a commoner not to fell more land than he or she is able to cultivate within a year; and secure free access to water resources by commoners.

These Rules, made under section 11 of the Commonage Act, concern commoners in the Savannah Sound area. The Rules require commoners to register with the Commissioner and specify conditions for registration as a commoner and the application for land by a commoner. The Rules also, among other things: regulate elections and meetings of commoners; provide rules regarding the setting of fire to land; provide for resolution of disputes between commoners in relating to the use of land by the Land Policy Committee; and secure free access to water resources by commoners.

These Rules, made under section 11 of the Commonage Act, concern commoners in the Harbour Island and Spanish Wells area. The commoners shall register with the Commissioner who may convene meetings of commoners.
