This Ordinance regulates the alienation of State land. For this purpose, it makes provision for the appointment of a Land Commissioner who shall be responsible for the general supervision and control of all Government Agents and land officers in the administration of State land and in the exercise of the powers conferred upon them by the Ordinance.Chapter IV establishes conditions and principles governing the alienation by permit or grant and the criteria for the calculation of the annual payment.

This Act provides rules relative to the identification of borders and ownership of land.The sections of this Act are divided into 5 Chapters: General provisions (I); Survey (II); Partition of land (III); Registration and related matters (IV); Miscellaneous provisions, entry into force, and amendment of other Acts (V).The municipalities are vested with the authority to register real property and to decide on matters of partition (sect. 3). Section 4 of Chapter II deals with marking of borders.

Measures and interventions relating to expropriation (I); Procedure (II); Valuation of property (III); Compensation (IV); Forced expropriation (V); Miscellaneous provisions (VI); Transitional provisions (VII); Entry into force and repeal of other laws (VIII). Section 2 lists all purposes for which expropriation may take place.

This Regulation provides for compensations in kind, i.e. other land, for the alienation of agricultural land. It provides criteria for the calculation of compensation and prohibits compensation for the certain types of land. If the owner of the land does not wish a compensation in kind or compensation in kind results difficult, then the Committee established by Resolution No. 222 of 1977 may fix a compensation in cash. (8 sections)

This Law establishes forms of property ownership, providing for the recognition and protection of property rights. Owners (physical persons, legal entities or the State) shall have the right of possession, use and transfer. Objects of property rights covered by this Law include: land, soil, water, air space, vegetation and wildlife, buildings, installations, equipment, subjects of material and spiritual culture, intellectual property, information, money, securities and other moveable and real property. The law provides for joint ventures as well.
