El presente Reglamento, que consta de 8 capítulos, 68 artículos, 2 disposiciones especiales, 3 transitorias y 1 final, dispone que el otorgamiento de tierras eriazas compete al Ministerio de Agricultura (art. 2º) y está condicionado a la existencia de aguas de libre disponibilidad, debiendo tramitarse el otorgamiento para el uso de dicho recurso en el mismo expediente que origina el pedido de tierras (art. 3º).

This Act gives the ordinary time limits for bringing actions of the various classes mentioned in the Act and section 33 extends the applicability of the Act also to arbitration. Actions include various actions in respect of land: section 17 provides for the time limit for an action to recover land or rent (time limit of 12 years but does not apply to Crown land (sect. 17). Section 20 declares that provisions of the Act shall apply to equitable interests in land, including interests in the proceeds of the sale of land held upon trust for sale and to legal estates.
Section 15 of Chapter 11 concerns the establishment of financial compensation by the Water Court for transfer or giving up of real property or rights of use or any other right which results in an income for purposes of this Act. The decision of the Water Court shall be deposited with the County Council.

The Act provides for the procedures of the application for rights relative to constructions in watercourses or related to watercourses as foreseen in the Water Act (sect. 1). This Act regulates the exchange of real property, the transfer or the redistribution of property, or the transfer of servitude.
