General
Campanha Cresca - Mocambique, is a project that aims to stop land-grabbing and related issues in Mozambique, from 1st of January 2016 until 31st of December 2019. The GROW campaign launched globally in 2011 with the goal of #People living in poverty claim power in the way the world manages land, water and climate change, so that they can grow or buy enough food to eat # now and in the future.# 3 years later, and 6 years since the 2008 global food crisis, hunger amidst a world of plenty continues to be the scandal of our age. From 2016-19, our EJ campaigning will build on the foundations we have created in the first 4 years of GROW to help to re-energise the fight against hunger. We will help shift the power balance by campaigning with people around the world on 3 crucial battle grounds in the fight against hunger: agriculture, climate change, and land rights. key external opportunities for Oxfam in Mozambique to achieve change in 2016-9 related to economic justice and Oxfam Strategic Plan goals 4 <(>&<)> 5. 1.
