This Act makes provision for the adjudication of claims to title to land and rights and interests in land by a Commissioner appointed for this purpose by the Governor-General under this Act.
This Act prescribes that it shall be a term or condition of every tenancy of an agricultural holding of a plantation specified in the First Schedule to this Act that a qualified tenant may purchase the freehold of that agricultural holding at a price to be agreed upon between the landlord and tenant. “Agricultural holding” is defined by the Security of Tenure of Small Holdings Act.
This Law governs lease agreements, including the rights, obligations and performance of the Parties. Leases shall comprise contracts for the temporary and paid tenure and use of land or other natural resources for the purpose of establishing an independent business, or for other purposes stipulated by law. Any owner of property or his representative may lease the property.
This Act prescribes that the Ministry of Agriculture shall be considered to act as a corporation in dealings and legal proceedings regarding agricultural land. Sale and long-term lease of agricultural land are excluded from provisions of this Act. The Act also requires the Minister to report to parliament on dealings involving agricultural land.
This Act makes provision for the adjudication of rights with respect to village land in relation with the settlement and resettlement of peoples in villages for the purposes of a policy promoting the development of villages. The Act also declares rights held under customary law to be extinguished.
This Act provides rules relative to the holding of title and other rights in land by persons other than a permanent resident or other than persons acquiring land or an interest in land under a devise or by inheritance (“Non-Bahamian”) and makes provision for control by the State on the holding of title in land in the Bahamas by foreigners.
The principal Act is amended by the insertion of a subsection (4(4)) on the power of the Investment Board to validate, on such terms and conditions as it may think fit, any purported conveyance, mortgage, transfer of mortgage or other acquisition of an interest in land made contrary to subsection (1) of section 4 by issuing a permit to the non-Bahamian.
The principal Act is amended by the insertion of a new section (7A) regarding the exemption of religious organizations from the requirement a certificate of registration or the grant of a permit in respect of the acquisition of immovable property.

This Act makes certain laws of England applicable in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and declares common law and rules of equity from time to time in force in England, to be applicable, subject to certain conditions, in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Decree makes provisions for the procurement of land for the implementation of construction in the interest of the public. The land procurement shall be conducted by means of releasing or relinquishing the land title and shall be based on the General Planning of Spatial Layout already stipulated.
