Cutting 212.5183 hectares of land in Chouk district of Kampot province: (1) 105.3696 hectares from Economic Land Concession of Virtus Green Plantations (Cambodia) Pte, Ltd; and (2) 107.1487 hectares from Economic Land Concession of First Bio-Tech Agricultural (Cambodia) Co., Ltd, and reclassying 197.6002 hectares as state private land for granting donation to 115 families who have actual occupation and cultivation, and reserving 14.9181 hectares as state public land.

La lucha por la hacienda Santa Elina (Brasil) es de una ocupación permanente reivindicando la reversión de esa propiedad durante 15 años. Actualmente tienen un título denominado “contrato de concesión de utilización” donde ellos son los beneficiarios pero la tierra sigue en propiedad del Instituto Nacional de Colonización y Reforma Agraria.
El Caso del Asentamiento Nueva Esperanza, en Paraguay, es una lucha emblemática por la tierra y el manejo racional de los recursos naturales. Dos comunidades se organizaron e identificaron tierras no lejanas en estado de abandono, y empezaron las gestiones para adjudicárselas. A partir de febrero de 1999, 120 familias comienzan los trámites ante el INDERT.
Cerrito Totora es un Campo Comunal, declarado así en el año 2000 por el Instituto de Bienestar Rural IBR, actual INDERT a propuesta de los beneficiarios que lucharon por su recuperación, es propiedad estatal y su aprovechamiento se realiza en forma colectiva por familias de pequeños productores agropecuarios de las comunidades aledañas al campo para fines agrícola- ganaderos.

Trata-se de pesquisas realizadas pelo projecto sobre Política Fundiária -Land Tenure Center da Universidade de Wisconsin, Estados Unidos da América, em colaboração com o Ministério da Agricultura e o NET-Núcleo de Estudos da Terra, da Universidade Eduardo Mondlane.
This training module is made for the field level beneficiaries of the project titled “Sustainable Access to Land Equality” implemented by Uttaran. Firstly, training will be provided to the selected trainers based on this module and later, the selected trainers will provide training to the primary committee leaders organized under the Sustainable Access to Land Equality project. So the person needs to have a clear conception about this module to conduct training.
Since 1985, Uttaran, an NGO, has been striving to establish the rights of poor people in the South-West regions of Bangladesh. During the operation of this development project, Uttaran has observed that providing the poor with productive elements can help eliminate poverty to a great extent. With the ownership of productive elements, their sources of income become multifarious. The productive element-the small piece of land-changes their social, cultural and psychological behavior. Statistics show that there are about 33lac acres of khas land in Bangladesh.
