This Ministerial Decree regulates registration of agricultural land of the members of cooperative classified as loan capital and other land owned by the members of cooperative. Agricultural land classified as loan stock shall include agricultural land except for land stock constituting authorized capital stock. Cooperative shall be liable to its members for the use of loan capital for agricultural purposes. Cadastre map of the inhabited area shall be integral part of the register of cooperative land.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of calculation of minimum and, in case of necessity, maximum land charges for lease of public and private agricultural land. It shall not be applicable to reserve land allotted to retirees and social workers and poor households to which special fixed tariffs shall be applicable. The amount of annual land charges shall be calculated at the moment of the conclusion of contract and also in case of modification of land charges envisaged by the contract.

This Order implements provisions of the Land Taxation (Relief) Act with respect to the de-rating of land by the Minister for purposes of relief from land-related taxes. The Order authorizes de-rating of land exclusively or principally used for agricultural purposes. The Order also lays down criteria for the determination by the Board whether land can be considered as being used substantially for agricultural production.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Land Taxation (Relief) Act with respect to: (a) application for relief certificates; (b) appeals against decisions of the Board to the Minister; (c) application for a de-rating certificate; (d) the forms of a relief certificate and a de-rating certificate.

This Decree amends the Decree containing further rules relative to land consolidation in concentration areas so as to give effect to new provisions for the consolidation of land in general as laid down in the new Town and Country Planning Act. The Decree shall be in conformity with the new planning system introduced by the Act. The title of the principal Decree is amended.

This Act makes rules relative to contracts of tenancy of “small holdings” i.e. any parcel of land intended for cultivation or pasturage consisting of not less than one acre nor more than ten acres held under a contract of tenancy. The Act also makes provision for the establishment of Valuation Boards.The Act establishes conditions and criteria for tenancy contracts between landlords and tenants of agricultural small holdings. No crop-sharing clauses may be included in the tenancy contract.

These Regulations define and list "prescribed trees" and "economic trees" for purposes of the Agricultural Small Holdings Act. For the purposes of section 8 of the Act, the areas specified in the Second Schedule shall be the areas in respect of which a landlord may reserve, in a rice tenancy contract, the exclusive right to graze cattle upon the holding for the period between the reaping of one crop of rice and the preparation of the land for planting the next crop.

Implements: Agricultural Small Holdings Act. (1997)

This Act concerns the designation of so-called “Homestead Areas” on public land in the Northern Mariana Islands, defines criteria for the eligibility to acquire rights to land in such areas and provides for the certification of rights in relation to homestead land.Homestead areas shall be designated by the Marianas Public Land Corporation in accordance with the Commonwealth Comprehensive Land Use Plan and provisions of this Act. Land in such an area shall be allotted to qualified persons for the purpose of farming.

This Law regulates relations regarding licensing of some activities. It shall not be applicable to the issuance of licences related to licensing agreement between natural and legal persons. The Act consists of seven Chapters divided into 52 Articles: (1) general provisions; (2) the state licensing system; (3) types of activity; (4) licensing of import and export; (5) licensing terms and conditions; (6) renewal, cancellation and suspension of licences; and (7) final provisions. Licensing terms and conditions shall be equal for all persons complying with the established requirements.

This Chapter contains rules relative to the allocation of agricultural leases. The Chapter, among other things: concerns applications for a lease; prescribes criteria for the assessment of an application; prescribes the form of a lease; and require the Department of Agriculture to process applications and to determine the best agricultural use for land subject to lease. The Department shall also make periodic inspections of leased land.
