FDI

Future Directions International (FDI) is an independent, not-for-profit Research Institute. It was established in 2000, by Major General (Retd) the Honourable Michael Jeffery (former Governor General of Australia) together with a small group of leading Australians, to conduct comprehensive research of important medium to long-term issues facing Australia.

Council for the Development of Cambodia

CDC

Recognizing that the real economic growth necessary to achieve the country’s developmental goals lies in the development of a healthy private sector, the government undertook a program of reform to promote private sector investment. As part of this reform program, the Law on Foreign Investment in the Kingdom of Cambodia of 1994 established the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC). This law made the CDC the highest decision-making level of the government for private and public sector investment.

To foster the growth of the private wildlife estate and especially its national contribution to food production and security, job creation and community development, wildlife and wildlife habitat conservation and private sector development.

Organization of American States

OAS

The Organization of American States is the world’s oldest regional organization, dating back to the First International Conference of American States, held in Washington, D.C., from October 1889 to April 1890. That meeting approved the establishment of the International Union of American Republics, and the stage was set for the weaving of a web of provisions and institutions that came to be known as the inter-American system, the oldest international institutional system.


Center for African Area Studies - Kyoto University

CAAS

The Center for African Area Studies (known as the "Africa Center") is foundation for African studies based on a deep understanding of Africa's natural environment, societies, and cultures that exists for the purpose of clarifying the uniqueness of various regions of Africa and contributing to endogenous development in Africa.

The forerunner of this center was the first African research institute to be established at a national university in Japan and was founded in April of 1986.

CID

The Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard University is a university-wide center that works to advance the understanding of development challenges and offer viable solutions to problems of global poverty. CID is Harvard’s leading research hub focusing on resolving the dilemmas of public policy associated with generating stable, shared, and sustainable prosperity in developing countries. Our ongoing mission is to apply knowledge to and revolutionize the world of development practice.

Concern Worldwide works with the world's poorest people to transform their lives.

We are an international humanitarian organisation dedicated to tackling poverty and suffering in the world’s poorest countries.

We work in partnership with the very poorest people in these countries, directly enabling them to improve their lives, as well as using our knowledge and experience to influence decisions made at a local, national and international level that can significantly reduce extreme poverty. In 2015, we positively impacted the lives of 22.5 million people.

Welthungerhilfe

WHH

Welthungerhilfe is one of the largest private aid organisations in Germany, independent of politics and religion. It was established in 1962, as the German section of the "Freedom from Hunger Campaign", one of the world's first initiatives aimed at the eradication of hunger.
