A complete 60-page report covering some of the general aspects of natural forests in Rwanda. It is composed of three chapters that cover various topics like mountain forests, relictual areas, savinocol formations, forest plantations, etc. The last part synthesises the country's forest resources and their uses.

An analysis of the present state of forest plantations and of current trends in plantation forestry both on a global basis and region-by-region. Economic and policy considerations in the development of plantation forestry are discussed. The outlook for plantation forestry is then presented in the form of alternative scenarios according to future growth in plantation area.

A very short report where the author makes comments on the data available in Lesotho on National Energy and Woodfuels. It includes some general observations on rural fuelwood use in the country followed by a brief conclusion.

Methods for the collection and analysis of wood product data in Niger are discussed in this country report. It is organised in two main sections: The country's wooden resources and their potential uses and the analysis of past, present and future trends with their respective subsections.

The report presents some of the general aspects of Chad before analysing the two most important chapters of the report. First, the main characteristics of the supply of fuelwood are presented with an estimate of the potential capacity of the country to supply. The main characteristics of the demand are underlined followed by the country’s political, institutional and legislative background.

Based on the information collected during a survey in the Republic of Guinea, this study concentrates on the country's main NWFPs. Among these are medical plants, tooth picks, cola nuts, shea tree nuts, honey, food plants, palm wine, bushmeat, rattan, bamboo, and wild fruits.

This medium-size report identifies the overall situation of data related to fuelwood in Mali. The first part is a very brief introduction to the situation in the country. The second part is a summary of the agro-ecological situation in Mali followed by a third part that identifies the principal production and consumption figures of wood energy.
