The exact description and delimitation of habitat types are an important tool and a basic condition for the protection and effective management of the natural environment and biodiversity in Greece. It is also a bounding obligation towards the competent EU bodies. Previously registered habitats (period 1999−2001) concerned in total 237 land areas totaling roughly 2 millions hectares of land.

This Law consisting of 27 articles aims at regulating the green cover protection in Libya. The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the Canton Luzern. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure.

Article 12.2 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Plot or plots of land, indicated in land-use planning scheme or on cadastre map of the territory, shall be formed as a result of consolidation of land plots pertaining to various land categories, except for cases envisaged by the federal legislation”.

The present Law implements the directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE). This Regulation has been elaborated by the specialists of the Committee on Land Reform and Land Resources (ROSKOMZEM) and determines the modalities of working out, issuing (substitution) and conservation of official documents. This Regulation was approved by the Scientific and Technical Council and was validated by the Committee on Land Reform and Land Resources of the Russian Federation.
