A community submission to the Chief Director of  The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform Policy Research and Legislation, Mr S Ogunronbi, on the Green Paper on Land Reform in East London - 23 November 2011.

Tshintsha Makhaya, in their submission, urged the Chief Director to have the Green Paper scrapped and that it should be re-written in close collaboration with them, the people who have been most affected by the failure of the Government’s failed land reform programme. The Green Paper does not consider people's needs and concerns and lacks a radical strategy for land and agrarian reform. Their submission is a 16 min DVD in which our constituencies - 14 community organizations from the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and Limpopo - express their issues and concerns about the Green Paper on Land Reform.
