THE controversial Regulation of Land Holdings Bill, which limits land ownership by foreigners and locals, was again referred to by President Jacob Zuma during his state of the nation address as the way forward for land reform in SA, but as debate continues on whether it will pass constitutional muster, land reform goes on.

Kenya: Samburu Residents Protest Grabbing of 10,000 Acres of Public Land in Kirimon

Residents of Kirimon in Samburu Central Sub-County have demonstrated over what they say is illegal grabbing of 10,000 acres of public land meant to benefit their community.

The angry residents accused the Samburu County government of taking too long to handover Kelele holding ground land to the Kirimon group ranch after approval by the defunct county council.
