The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Ley Nº 160 - Crea el Sistema Nacional de Reforma Agraria y Desarrollo Rural Campesino, establece un subsidio y reforma el Instituto Colombiano de la Reforma Agraria (INCORA).
El capitulo IV de la Ley Nº 160 de 1994, establece un subsidio para la compra de tierras en las modalidades y procedimientos de crédito no reembolsable con cargo al presupuesto del Instituto Colombiano de Reforma Agraria (INCORA), que se otorgara por una sola vez al campesino sujeto de la reforma agraria, con arreglo a las políticas que señale el Ministerio de Agricultura y a los criterios de elegibilidad que se señalen.
Constitution of the Republic of Moldova.
All citizens of the Republic of Moldova are equal before the Law indifferent on their origin, their origin, their social and patrimonial state, their race and nationality, their sex, education, language, religion, occupation, place of residence and other circumstances (Article 4).
Ordinance relating to the Building Law.
The present Ordinance enforces the Building Law of 12 June 1994. Article 1 establishes that the competent Department shall prepare the cantonal structural plan in cooperation with the cantonal offices. The Department shall ensure the participation of municipalities and shall consult federal authorities and neighbouring cantons. Other interested parties shall also be heard. The text consists of 41 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Planning proceedings (I); Building permit proceedings (II); Legal protection (IIII); Transitional and final provisions (IV).
Loi-cadre nº 94-018 relative à l'environnement.
Cette loi porte régime de base en matière d'environnement. Elle vise, notamment, à: préserver la diversité et l'intégrité de l'environnement; créer les conditions d'une utilisation quantitativement et qualitativement durable des ressources naturelles; garantir à tous les citoyens un cadre de vie écologiquement sain et équilibré. Les citoyens sont tenus à participer collectivement pour la sauvegarde de l'environnement.
