The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

These Regulations set out procedural requirements in relation to the preparation of the review and update of regional planning guidelines by regional authorities. These procedural requirements supplement those already set out in the Planning and Development Act 2000. The Regulations also specify the National Spatial Strategy as being of relevance to the determination of strategic planning policies. Regional authorities shall take into account the National Spatial Strategy and updates, when preparing and making regional planning guidelines.

This Decree provides for land use planning and plans; land recovery, compensation, support and resettlement in case of land recovery by the State; land prices and land rent rates; order of, and procedures for land recovery, allocation and lease; issuance of certificates of land use rights and ownership of house and other assets attached to land, and land use duration extension; and for land development funds.The Decree specifies the contents of land use planning at the national, provincial, district and commune level.
Land Registration Authority Act 2003.
This Act provides for the registration of land and establishes for this purpose a Land Registration Authority.The Authority shall be a body corporate and shall be managed by a Board of Directors. The Authority shall: (a) provide a legal framework for the people of the Marshall Islands to voluntarily register their interests in land in order to produce certainty regarding the identity of the legal owners of land and interests in land; (b) provide standards and criteria for land leases; and (c) maintain and keep public records of land and land transactions.

El presente Decreto Legislativo aprueba la Ley Marco de Adquisición y Expropiación de inmuebles, transferencia de inmuebles de propiedad del Estado, liberación de Interferencias y dicta otras medidas para la ejecución de obras de infraestructura, que tiene por objeto establecer el régimen jurídico aplicable a los procesos de adquisición y expropiación de inmuebles, transferencia de bienes inmuebles de propiedad del Estado y liberación de interferencias para la ejecución de obras de infraestructura de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 70 de la Constitución Política del Perú.
