Displaying 21 - 25 of 31Flood Damage Reduction Agreements Act (R.S.N.W.T. 1988, c. 14 (Supp.).
Under this Act, the Commissioner may enter into agreements with the Government of Canada under which parties will operate for the purpose of reducing potential flood damage in the Territories; such agreements may cover, among others, mapping of areas prone to flooding, zoning of lands and the elaboration and implementation of policies to reduce potential flood damage.
Tenants in Common Act (R.S.N.W.T. 1988. c. T-1).
This Act authorizes two or more persons, when land is granted, transferred, conveyed, assured, devised or assigned, to take the land or interest in land as tenants in common and not as joint tenants.
Planning Act (R.S.N.W.T. 1988, c-P.7).
This Act concerns the management of land and the planning of land uses in Northwest Territories. It contains provisions on development schemes, zoning and construction, it provides for the establishment of the Development Appeal Board and regulates right to enter into lands, inspections and enforcement.

Under these Regulations, the whole of Northwest Territories in constituted as a registration district for the purposes prescribed by the Land Titles Act.
