This Decree, consisting of 9 Chapters, regulates Act No. 93 creating the Fund for Land and Agricultural Reform. It establishes requirements to be met in order to benefit from financial assistance by the Fund.

This Decree amends Decree No. 4.892 regulating Act No. 93 creating the Fund for Land and Agricultural Reform. It establishes financial assistance requirements and specifies that in programs and projects of agrarian credit, may be funded land, under the same conditions, also incidental expenses related to the acquisition of rural property and basic investments allowing the starting of productive activities on property purchased with Funds for Land and Agrarian Reform.Part 1 is divided as follows: Principles and definitions (chap.

These Regulations set out the manner in which applications, complaints or appeals to an Agrarian Tribunal for inquiry shall be made, the particulars to be included in any such application, complaint or appeal and the procedure to be followed at meetings of the Tribunal.The Regulations further provide for the allowances to be paid and procedures to be followed at the meeting of a Board of Review established by the Commissioner General to entertain appeals of any aggrieved party.

These Regulations prescribe the Forms and procedures necessary to nominate a successor who shall be entitled to succeed to the rights of tenant cultivator under the Act, or to cancel a nomination, in respect of the extent of paddy land cultivated, in the event of death or permanent disability.The Regulations further provide for the procedure for registration of a document including the registers which shall be kept for maintaining records of the documents submitted to the Commissioner General.

This Law establishes basic principles of organization of a daihan (peasant) farm and legal grounds for the functioning thereof. Daihan (peasant) farm shall be considered agricultural enterprise set up by one o several families with a scope of performing agricultural production.
