Mr. Geley Norbu is the Director of Department of Land Admiistration and Management at the National Land Commission, Bhutan. He was a Fulbright fellow at MIT where he studied a special course in Urban and Regional Studies. He holds a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the National Indian Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India. He has worked as the Chief Urban Planner at Thimphu Municipality (2009-2016) and as an Architect Planner at Ministry of Works and Human Settlement (2002-2008). He is passionate about and dedicated to public service.
