DLG-Verlag was founded in 1952 as a subsidiary of DLG e.V. (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft - German Agricultural Society) with its headquarter in Frankfurt/ Germany. The publishing company provides expertise for the agricultural and food sector.

With its subsidiaries Max-Eyth-Verlag and DLG-Agrofood Medien GmbH the DLG-Verlag offers books and magazines, as well as catalogs of the DLG's international DLG exhibitions.

Loka Ahlinn was formed by nine core members from educational backgrounds in 2006. It aimed to address the question of how to develop an education platform in Myanmar. Projects started in community management and training, including establishment of two training centres, in Yangon and Magway.

The indigenous people in Cambodia are living in the remote areas and highlands of Cambodia, especially in the Northeast of Cambodia, including Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kratie, and Preh Vihear, and in the southwest along the cardamom mountains. These provinces are located far from Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The infrastructures in these locations are very poor, but they are rich in natural resources.

Promotion of Indigenous and Nature Together

POINT

POINT (Promotion of Indigenous and Nature Together) was established in March 2012. It is started as a response to the lack of organization led by “Indigenous Peoples” working for Indigenous Peoples’ issues in Myanmar. In the past, only the religious organizations are the strong civil society working for its related indigenous people’s needs of humanitarian and development assistance to some extent. Therefore, the organization POINT was formed in order to fill the gap of promoting the rights of indigenous peoples along with increased awareness on environmental related knowledge.

The Maurya Empire of the 4th and 3rd centuries B.C. - which reached its zenith under ASHOKA - united much of South Asia. The Golden Age ushered in by the Gupta dynasty (4th to 6th centuries A.D.) saw a flowering of Indian science, art, and culture.

Lawyers’ Environmental Action Team

LEAT

The Lawyers' Environmental Action Team (LEAT) was established to ensure Tanzania's environment and natural resources are sustainably managed.


Their mission is to enhance the capacity and participation of the people in sub-Saharan Africa to sustainably manage their natural resources and environment through legal, policy and other strategic interventions.


LEAT’s major activities are conducting legal and social-policy research, advocacy work, public interest litigation and giving legal advice.
