A real property that has been assessed as an agricultural unit which is owned by 3 or more persons is rules by provisions as laid down in sections 2 to 6 of the present Act relative to common ownership rights. An agreement between owners, which is in contravention with these provisions, shall be non-valid (sect. 1).

This Act imposes the obligation to provide information on operations for persons who operate in agriculture and forestry and traders in commodities as defined in section 1. These persons shall provide information on means of production, farming, and use of land and use of energy as specified in section 2.

This Act regulates foreshores and beds of rivers and lakes. It is divided up into 8 section as follows: 1 Short title; 2 Grant or lease of beach or foreshore; 3 Price or rental terms; 4 Grant of water front; 5 Prohibited oyster cultivation; 6 Fish trap or weir; 7 Administration of Act and 8 Disposition of money.

This Act is divided into two sections as follows: 1 Short title and 2 Venue of action relating to land. The Act provides for the local justice centre areas to hear local trespass land actions, actions in which possession or recovery of lands is sought, and actions in which the title to lands is in issue.

This Law establishes the Code for Land Expropriation. This Code consists of 8 Parts specifying the cases in which land expropriation procedures may be applied according to the legal regime.

This amendment of the principal Act is introduced so as provide for a system of poultry rights, i.e. a right to hold poultry and to produce manure from poultry granted for purposes of control of production of manure. It shall be prohibited to produce on a livestock farm more manure from chickens and turkeys in a given year than the poultry right in force for the farm in that year.

This amendment of the principal Act is introduced so as to answer to requirements of Council Directive 91/676/EEC of 12 December 1991 concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources. It aims at sharpening criteria for the use of fertilizers containing nitrates and thus prevents use without a precise purpose of such fertilizers.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the practice of land surveying for the protection of the public and administration of the profession. Section 6 establishes that the Association of Manitoba Land Surveyors is continued as a body corporate.

Article 18 acquires a new wording: « Land charges are transferred by land taxpayers for the land within the boundaries of rural settlements and other categories of land managed the local administration to the budgetary accounts of the local administration; for the land within the boundaries of suburban settlement, municipal boundaries, other categories of land within district boundaries, except

Paragraph 1 of the Article 8 the wording « table 1 » is substituted with the wording « tables 1, 2, 3 ». Paragraph 4 of the Article 17 the wording « to the extent of 0,7% of the amount of arrears for each day of delay »is substituted with the wording " to the extent fixed by the Federal Law".

This Act applies wherever an authority expropriates land or in the exercise of its lawful powers, causes the injurious affection of land. 'Expropriation' means the acquisition of title to land without the consent of the owner. Due compensation shall be determined in accordance with the provisions under this Act. This Act consists of 55 sections and two schedules.

Paragraph 4 of the Article 12 is supplemented with the following passage: « State and municipal institutions of social service. »
