The Regional Act makes provision on environment conservation and on the protection of the coastal zone of the territories listed in article 1. For the achievement of these aims, the Region encourages cultivation of the abandoned lands specified by article 2. Within six months from the entry into force of this Act, the regional authority shall prepare a register listing the enterprises and farms which fall within the above-mentioned areas. Registered enterprises may perform the activities defined by article 3, which are intended to improve the viticulture sector. An intervention plan must be previously submitted by the enterprises to the Region. Further provisions concern allocation of financial resources.
