The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the planning of land and soil belonging to the Land Brandenburg. Such land shall be preferably regulated by leases and building rights. In particular, special consideration shall be given to principles and aims of land use planning. Furthermore, the Ordinance shall promote local and regional development, conserve forest areas, waters areas, protect nature, improve agricultural infrastructures, secure agricultural development, and forestry infrastructures. The use of land of special value for the conservation and development of nature and landscape is authorized, provided that its utilization takes into due account the need for a sustainable development.
