The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Article 3 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The amount of lease payment for land plot destined for performance of social activities, and also in other cases envisaged by the federal legislation shall not exceed the amount of land tax calculated for such plots of land”.

This Decree establishes the modalities of transfer of recultivated land suitable for agricultural use, forest management and fisheries, to landowners and land tenants extracting minerals and peat, and also carrying out exploration, prospecting and other activities related to land disturbance. The period of biological recultivation of land must not exceed five years. Recultivated land destined for agricultural use until the complete restoration of soil fertility shall be classified as soil in the process of fertility restoration.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of mapping on site of the boundaries of land reclamation objects. Mapping shall be carried out in accordance with cadastral data of land reclamation objects. Instalment of landmarks shall be carried out in the presence of servitude established in accordance with civil and land legislation.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Aboriginal Lands Act 1995.The Regulations provide for the hearing of appeals in respect of Council’s decisions in relation to leases and licences, and for guidelines to determine whether to grant a further licence or lease in relation to Aboriginal land and the terms and conditions of any further lease or licence.

This Decision amends seven laws including the Law of on Ports, the Law on the Administration of Tax Collection, the Law of on the Prevention and Control of Environment Pollution Caused by Solid Wastes, the Gun Control Law, the Law on Flood Control, the Securities Investment Fund Law, and the Urban and Rural Planning Law.The Decision makes the following amendments on the Law of on Ports: changes to articles 37 on the excavation, blasting or other activities at a port that may endanger the port safety.
