This Act, consisting of 13 Chapters, divided in 114 Sections and 3 Schedules, provides for the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement.

The present Regulations are made under the Saskatchewan Farm Security Act which affords protection to farmers against loss of their farm land. In particular, the Regulations provide fo the correct and efficient enforcement of some provisions contained in the afore-mentioned Act, especially pertaining to financial issues.

This Decree establishes maximum allowable limits of concentration of slip forms of nickel, copper and lead in soil of different categories: (a) inhabited areas; (b) industrial areas; (c) transport and engineering infrastructure land; (d) recreational land; (e) agricultural land; (f) special purpose land; and (g) other territories. Annex 1 contains the list of chemicals and authorized concentration limits’ indices.

This Regulation amends the Regulation on pastures by adding a new clause after the Clause (a) of Paragraph 5 of Article 8. The new clause added by this Regulation sets forth that the Decree by the Council of Ministers regarding urban transformation should implement Article 14 of the Pastures Law and take into account the Article 8 of the Regulation on pastures in case the Decree covers pasture lands.

This Act amends Chapter 75 of Title 21 GCA so as to allow residential and agricultural leaseholders are authorized to conduct small-scale cottage industry activities, in which goods and services are produced primarily within their leased residential and agricultural lots. Cottage industry activities include small-scale cultivation and farming.

En virtud de esta Resolución se ordena a la Dirección General de Control de la Calidad Ambiental y de los Recursos Naturales realizar un monitoreo de las áreas de reserva legal de bosques en propiedades rurales de más de veinte hectáreas en todo el teritorio nacional. Asimismo, se dispone que en todo proyecto que se desarolle en propiedades rurales de más de 20 hectáreas la misma Dirección debe determinar si el proponente del proyecto cumple con la obligación de mantener el 25 por ciento del área de bosque natural.

The Government decrees as follows: 1) To establish that in case of concession of agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes for temporary tenancy or on lease (on condition of subsequent restoration of agricultural land to the level of the initial of cadastre valuation) the amount of agricultural losses is calculated in percentage to the normative cost of developing new lands. 2) Reimbursement for agricultural losses is entered in the account of respective Regional budgets and local administration. These funds are used for carrying out work in accordance with Annex 2.

Il est créé un Comité National de Sécurisation Foncière en Milieu Rural, en abrégé: CONA-SFR. La mission essentielle du Comité est d’alimenter la réflexion sur les questions de politiques et de stratégies en matière de sécurisation foncière en milieu rural au Burkina Faso. Il est mis en place dans chaque région, un Comité Régional de Sécurisation Foncière en Milieu Rural.

The Government, for the purpose of improvement of the modalities of indemnification of agricultural losses caused by expropriation or use restrictions of agricultural land as well as by the deterioration of its quality, decrees as follows: 1) To set forth the Normative costs of developing new lands in exchange for expropriated agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes in new wording according to the Annex; 2) To exclude from the Regulation paragraph 2 of the item 30 and item 36.

These Regulations are formulated in accordance with the Urban and Rural Planning Law of the People’s Republic of China. The Regulations consist of 6 Chapters, dealing with: General provisions; Formulation and amendment of urban and rural planning; Implementation of urban and rural planning; Supervision and inspection; Legal liabilities; Supplementary provisions. The Regulations provide for the procedures of, and requirements for formulation, approval, amendment and implementation of urban and rural planning.

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the classification of agricultural land according to degree of erosion risks by water and wind with a view to direct payments. The text consists of 4 articles as follows: Classification and representation (1); Identification and marking of erosion- prone area (2); Non-standard requirements (3); Entry into force; expiry (4). Two Annexes are enclosed.
