The purpose of this Act is to regulate general principles governing the limits of ownership of lands by individuals in the country. In particular, no one may own more than a certain amount of land in the whole country. Any land in excess shall be seized by the Government and redistributed. Fruit and tea gardens, as well as agricultural land are exempt from this limitation. Abandoned land, wasteland and land exceeding the maximum permitted, are considered eligible for division and redistribution. According to the Act, farmers are considered as priority in land redistribution.

These Regulations issued under article 14(1) of the Expropriation of Landholdings for Public Purposes and Payment of Compensation Proclamation No. 455/2005 concerns not only payment of compensation to but also aims at assisting in other ways persons displaced by expropriation under the Proclamation to restore their livelihood. Compensation shall also be paid for crops and trees. The amount of compensation for crops shall be calculated by multiplying the amount of yield that would have been collected from the land at maturity by the current market price of the crops.

The Minister may, by Order published in the Gazette, vest in the State land that is vested in the Land Reform Commission under the Land Reform Law. The Order shall: (a) specify the extent of agricultural or estate land; (b) make reference to the survey plan made by the Surveyor-General in respect of such land; (c) specify any servitude attaching to such agricultural or estate land.

This Act amends five points of the Act on conditions of converting agricultural and forest lands from ownership of the state to other persons and amending Act on the Land fund of the Czech Republic. In particular, the Act amends conditions of selling agricultural land and forest land to self-employed farmers, land owners, corporate partners, members of cooperate bodies and beneficiaries.

Amends: Act on the transfer of agricultural and forest public lands and amending the Act on the Land Fund of the Czech Republic. (1999-04-28)

Guideline No.2 dated 13.1.2010 on the methods of verification and examination of the legal validity of agricultural land ownership titles by the local commissions established for such purpose.

The Guideline No. 2 of 2010 lays down methods for the verification and examination of the legal validity of the agricultural land ownership titles by the local commissions established for such purpose. The verifications are done for requests submitted by the local offices of immovable property registration offices and the land protection and administration units at the regional council. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection and the Land Governmental Commission are responsible authorities for the process implementation.

This Law regulates the sale of State land available for the purpose of agricultural development. It consists of the following Chapters: Sale of State land (I); Grants and Permits (II); Protection of Land held on Permits or Grants (III); Dispositions (IV); Succession (V); Cancellation of Permits (VI); Regulations (VII); General (VIII).The Government Agent of each administrative district shall from time to time make a report to the Land Commissioner of any State land available for alienation by way of sale for the purpose of agricultural development.

This Order specifies permitted development for articles 8(3)(a) of the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002. That provision empowers the Minister to grant, by Order, planning permission in respect of a class or classes of development specified in the Order. The purpose of this Law is the establishment of market oriented conditions in the agricultural sector based on private ownership. Land transfer and the use of land as guarantee for land-based credit should promote the efficient operation of new businesses. This Law basically regulates the use of arable land and aims to create landed properties suitable for competitive agricultural production, avoiding to burden land with the effects of excessive subdivision.
