This Resolution of the Council of Ministers approves the Management Plan of the Hydrographical Basin of Douro River (PGBH). It represents a planning instrument aiming at applying an integrated approach for management, protection and environmental social and economic valorisation of the waters within the related hydrographical basins guaranteeing the application of the EU Parliament and Council Directive No. 2000/60/CE, establishing a community framework for the water policy sector, so called Directive-Framework for Water (DQA).

La presente Ley establece el marco normativo para las áreas de reserva territoriales del Estado de Guatemala, que están constituidas por aquellas áreas: contenidas en la faja terrestre de tres kilómetros a lo largo de los océanos, contadas a partir de la línea superior de las mareas; de doscientos metros alrededor de las orillas de los lagos; de cien metros a cada lado de las riberas de los ríos navegables; de cincuenta metros alrededor de las fuentes y manantiales donde las aguas surtan a las poblaciones.

El presente Acuerdo aprueba el Manual para la elaboración de planes reguladores costeros en la zona marítimo terrestre, que constituyen el instrumento legal y técnico para alcanzar los objetivos de las políticas de ordenamiento territorial en procura de un desarrollo económico, social y ambiental equilibrado en la zona marítimo terrestre y áreas adyacentes.

El presente Reglamento establece los requisitos legales de visado de planos para la construcción de edificaciones en la Zona Marítimo Terrestre. El concesionario podrá construir tierra adentro de la línea de mojones que demarca el límite de la zona pública de la zona marítimo terrestre conforme al plan regulador.

These Regulations designate a coastal area as a Special Protection Area in accordance with Article 4 of Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Conservation of Wild Birds. The purpose is to ensure protection from disturbance, capture and damage to nests and eggs under Article 5 of the Directive for all species of birds, not just the birds listed on Schedule 3 (with the exception of those birds covered under Articles 7 for hunting and 9, where derogations are listed).

This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, made under section 16 of the Environment Conservation Act, 1989, designates in the Schedule the Administrator and the local authorities who may issue written authorization for the undertaking of activities which are identified in GN. R. 879 in respect of the Outeniqua Sensitive Coastal Area referred to in that Government Notice. Those activities include: disturbance of vegetation, dredging, dune stabilisation and earthworks.

This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, made under section 21 of the Environment Conservation Act, 1989, identifies activities that may have a detrimental effect on the environment in respect of areas included in Schedule 2, which form the Outeniqua Sensitive Coastal Areas. Those activities include: disturbance of vegetation, dredging, dune stabilisation and earthworks. The Notice shall not apply to activities of a like nature carried out in the normal pursuit of agriculture or gardening.

This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, made under section 22 of the Environment Conservation Act, 1989, designates in the Schedule the provincial authority and the local authorities who may issue written authorization for the undertaking of activities which are identified in GN. R. 1529 in respect of the Pennington Sensitive Coastal Area and Umtamvuna Sensitive Coastal Area referred to in that Government Notice. Those activities include: disturbance of vegetation, dredging, dune stabilisation and earthworks.

This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, made under section 21 of the Environment Conservation Act, 1989, identifies in Schedule 1 activities that may have a detrimental effect on the environment in respect of areas included in Schedule 2, which form the Outeniqua Sensitive Coastal Area. Those activities include: disturbance of vegetation, dredging, dune stabilisation and earthworks.

This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, made under section 26 of the Environment Conservation Act, 1989, concerns approval of undertaking of activities which are identified in GN. R. 1526 in respect of the Outeniqua Sensitive Coastal Area referred to in that Government Notice. Those activities include: disturbance of vegetation, dredging, dune stabilisation and earthworks.

This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, made under section 26 of the Environment Conservation Act, 1989, concerns authorization of activities as identified G.N. No. 879 that may have a detrimental effect on the environment in respect of the Pennington Sensitive Coastal Area and Umtamvuna Sensitive Coastal Area. Those activities include: disturbance of vegetation, dredging, dune stabilisation and earthworks. An application for a permit shall be made to local authorities and shall be accompanied by an environmental impact assessment.
