These Regulations amend the Development and Planning Regulations (2006 revision) in relation with the power of the Central Planning Authority to require an applicant for a planning permission to set aside a part of the land subject of the permission for public purposes. The Authority may permit an applicant to pay a sum of money in lieu of setting aside land for public purposes.

The present Ordinance implements the Land Use Planning Act of 8 August 1997 (BGBl. I p. 2081, 2102). In particular, Ordinance establishes for the exclusive economic zone of the Federal Republic of Germany objectives and principles of land use planning with regard to the economic and scientific use, in terms of ensuring the safety and efficiency of navigation and the protection of the marine environment. The text consists of 2 articles and 1 Annex.

This Act ensures a plan uniting the community’s interests in land use and contributes to protecting the country's environment in order for the society to develop on a sustainable basis in regards to human living conditions and preservation of animal and plant life. Regional and local councils shall publish a statement of their strategy for the region's respective municipality contribution to sustainable development in the 21st century.

This Ordinance provides for the protection of the coast of Guernsey. It prohibits the taking of material or breaking of rocks on the coastline without a permit of the States Board of Administration. The Board may attach to the grant of a permit under this section such conditions (including a condition that the permit shall only be operative during such period as shall be therein specified) as it may deem necessary or expedient.

Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 (Cap. 23).

The Act introduces a new system of marine management. The Act includes provision changing the system for licensing the carrying on of activities in the marine environment. It also provides for the designation of conservation zones. It changes the way marine fisheries are managed at a national and a local level and modifies the way licensing, conservation and fisheries rules are enforced. It allows for designation of an Exclusive Economic Zone for the UK, and for the creation of a Welsh Zone in the sea adjacent to Wales.

This Decree of the Ministry of Environment, which is composed of six articles and four Annexes, provides details on the content of flood plan and procedure of its approval. Flood plan is composed of flood safey work plan (specified in Annex 1 and 2) and flood rescue plan (Annex 3 and 4). Procedure for approval of flood plan is defined in art. 3.

Section 2 of this Chapter sets out findings and defines policy goals regarding the protection of the Seashore Reserve (defined in section 3). One of the particular goals is to protect wildlife, marine life, and other ocean resources, and the natural environment, to preserve the ecological balance of the seashore reserve and prevent its deterioration and destruction. The Guam Territorial Seashore Protection Commission is created under section 4.
