Land relationship in the Republic of Belarus is regulated by the Constitution, Presidential Decrees, by this Code and other Legislative Acts that implement it. Civil Code regulations are applicable to land relationship with regard to provisions established by land legislation. The document consists of XV Sections that contain 36 Chapters sub-divided into 164 articles. Section I lays down the general provisions. It contains Chapters 1-12. Section II establishes the rights and the duties of land-tenants, landlords and the owners of the plots of land.

This Act provides with respect to the application for and the granting of loans for an agricultural purpose, or for a purpose declared under section 39 to be an approved purpose, the security necessary for the support of such loans and relative proof of title of rights in land.

This Act, consisting of 86 sections divided into nine Parts and completed by two Schedules, makes provision for the acquisition of land by the Crown and by other authorities.

Le présent règlement met en exécution la loi du 7 septembre 2011 sur les sites pollués (LSites). This Decree establishes the modalities of compensation of damages to natural and legal persons for expropriation of land plots for state and public needs. Expropriation of land plots shall be performed by local government in case of consent by land owner or by coordination with land tenant or lease holder. In case of lack of the aforesaid consent expropriation can be appealed in court. Decision on land expropriation shall be made in conformity with general land-use planning scheme and in accordance with detailed residential housing construction plan.

These Regulations prescribe for England types of development for the purposes of section 108 which provides for the payment of compensation in certain cases where planning permission for development granted by a development order or a local development order is withdrawn and where on an application for planning permission for that development, the application is refused or permission is granted subject to conditions.

Bouvet Island, Peter I Island and Queen Maud Land (45 ° east - 20 ° west latitudes) is subject to Norwegian sovereignty as dependency land. Norwegian civil and penal laws together on the administration of justice apply to Bouvet Island, Peter I Island and Queen Maud Land. The King may issue regulations on environmental protection on Bouvet Island, Peter I's Island and Queen Maud Land (art. 2). Additional provisions of this Act shall be determined by HM the King, whereby HM may implement amendments when and where required.

This Act amends the Land Leases Act [CAP 163]: (a) in provisions concerning a premium payable by a lessee to a lessor in certain circumstances, advance payment of a five-year period annual lease rent, payment of compensation by a proprietor of registered lease to a lessor in case of sale of a rural lease, and rural lease tax; and (b) by inserting a new provision on a premium payable by a registered proprietor to the Minister for the issue of a new lease.
