This Act provides for State financial support for various measures in the field of agriculture and fisheries, such as organic production, development of less-favoured areas, cooperation between farmers, etc. The Minister may tie investment support to agricultural enterprises of improvement plans to be adopted in accordance with article 1 and may issue rules relative to granting of support. Chapter 2 concerns support to environmentally managed enterprises, whereas Chapter 3 concerns incentives for organic production. Chapters 4 and 5 provide for support to less favoured areas.

The aim of this Law is to settle disputes concerning rural land contract management in a timely and just manner, to ensure farmers' rights and promote rural economy and social stability.The law sets out principles related to the use of mediation or arbitration for the settlement of land disputes. When a dispute arises, the parties concerned can reach a compromise on their own, or resort to a village committee or local government for mediation.

This Regional Law establishes that price of a plot of land located in urban areas and destined for agricultural production, without constructions nor edifices thereon, already allotted to peasant farm on condition of permanent (open-ended) possession or as lifelong hereditary possession in case of purchase thereof by the aforesaid categories of tenants shall be 15 percent of estimated cadastre value at the date of submittal of application.

The Hungarian State Holding Company (MNV Zrt.) may purchase agricultural land through tendering procedure from land owners (hereinafter: entitled) for the benefit of the State, for a maximum of 20 acres and a minimum of 1 acre per owner of lands in non-urban areas, for a total value of 3 million HUF, and paying for it with a life annuity according to the provisions of this Decree.

El presente Decreto atribuye al denominado “saneamiento interno” la calidad de instrumento de conciliación y resolución de conflictos que puedan surgir dentro de las colonias y comunidades campesinas, indígenas y originarias, a fin de reconocer los acuerdos internos a los que lleguen sus miembros con la participación de sus autoridades naturales y originarias, aplicando normas propias, usos y costumbres, siempre y cuando no vulneren la normativa vigente y no afecten derechos legítimos de terceros. El artículo 2º describe el procedimiento de saneamiento interno.
