This Act regulates inheritance in general and in particular of land.

The Act provides that, notwithstanding anything contained in the Cook Islands Act 1915 or in any other enactment or in any order of any court, no person shall be capable of leasing any land on any of the motus of Rarotonga set out in the Schedule to this Act.

The Act amends the Aitutaki Motus Prohibition of Leases Act 1970 by redefining the area to which the principal Act applies.

The Act provides that, notwithstanding anything contained in the Cook Islands Act 1915 or any other enactment or any order of any Court, no person shall be capable of leasing any land on any of the Motus Aitutaki set out in the Schedule to this Act. The prohibition shall not affect any interest in any land acquired prior to the commencement of this Act.

This Ordinance establishes a Land Utilization Authority for the purpose of controlling and managing cultivable land in the Province, and also to motivate land owners to develop their cultivable land by providing credit facilities to them. The Government shall establish the Punjab Land Utilization Authority. Powers and functions of the Authority are outlined in the Ordinance.

The scope of this Law shall be to introduce crop rotation on agricultural land, including combined, intermediate and recurrent sowing for the purpose of raising production of agricultural commodities.

This Act concerns law in general applicable in Tuvalu and gives a definition of customary law and other sources of law. The Act also defines powers of the Attorney-General in relation to applied law.Customary law comprises the customs and usages, existing from time to time, of the natives of Tuvalu.

This Act amends the Tokelau Act 1948 with respect to legal proceedings and makes consequential amendments to the Tokelau (Territorial Sea and Exclusive Economic Zone) Act 1977; the Tokelau Crimes Regulations 1975; the Tokelau (New Zealand Laws) Regulations 1975; the Chattels Transfer Act in force in Tokelau; and Trustee Act in force in Tokelau.

This Act amends the Tokelau Act 1948 by repealing the definition of "Tokelau" and by making consequential amendments regarding instutions to the principal Act and the Maori and Island Affairs Department Act 1968.

This Act amends the Custom and Adopted Laws Act 1971 in section 4 with respect to, among other things, adoption of English common law and equity in Nauru and alteration and adaptation by the Courts of Nauru to take account the circumstances of Nauru or any alterations or adaptations of principles and rules of common law which may have taken place in England.

This Act amends the Custom and Adopted Laws Act 1971 in section 6 and the First Schedule.
