This amendment of the Land Law 1987, establishes that the owner of a dwelling may, under specified conditions and subject to specified provisions, install on the roof of his dwelling a boiler for the heating of water by the sun (section 59A). Section 59B establishes that the owner of a dwelling may be disconnected from the central water or room heating system under specified conditions.

An Act to provide for the control of abandoned lands in Tasmania. The Minister may issue an abandoned land notice in respect of land which meets requirements set out in section 4. Where the Minister is satisfied that a person is entitled to any estate or interest in the land to which an abandoned land notice relates, he may exclude from the operation of the notice those rights or, by agreement with that person, some other rights in substitution therefore.

The objective of this Law, which includes 28 articles and 3 provisional articles in 3 sections, is to make provision for the following matters: (1) Productive cultivation of the land and increase employment in these areas; (2) Distribution of land to landless farmers or farmers with insufficient land; support and training to farmers; (3) Small land integration for productive cultivation; (4) Creation of new settlement locations and enlargement of existing settlement areas; (5) When necessary, rearrangement of land for other purposes.

The objective of this Law which includes 14 articles is to define the registration procedure of marshy lands. Those who wish to acquire land through drying marshy lands that are not possessed by anyone will apply to the relevant Governor, who shall then ask the Prime Ministry whether drying can be made by the State or not. If so, drying should be made within 4 years otherwise it will be considered as being renounced from this right. If drying will not be made by the State then the case will be communicated to the villages and water users' unions in the area. Priority will be for them.

La presente Ley dispone que las poblaciones estables asentadas en tierras de propiedades privadas, sean dichas poblaciones rurales o urbanas, siempre que tengan 20 años o más desde su fundación y que no se hayan originado en razón de las actividades de los propietarios ni respondiendo a planes de éstos, se conocerán como colonizadores o urbanizaciones de hecho, según los casos, y que quedarán sujetas a las disposiciones de esta Ley.

Presidential Decree No. 213 of 1992 establishing the quotas of the free-of charge transfer of the plots of land to the private ownership.

The President, for the purpose of regulating free-of-charge transfer of the plots of land to the private ownership, decrees that in establishing an average district quota for the transfer, the total area of agricultural land (except for areas allotted to the local administrations) must be divided into the number of agricultural workers. The local administrations are authorized, in accordance with the notification of the committees on land reform and land policy, to differ the average quota of the free-of-charge transfer in connection with the density of population.

The Government decrees to validate the Regulation. Special land fund is set up at the expense of agricultural land that is either not used according to its predestination or is used in violation of the legislation currently in force, and of abandoned land. The plots of land that can't be used for growing agricultural produce in conformity with sanitary requirements must not be included into special land fund.

El presente Decreto dispone que podrán declararse por parte de la Junta Directiva del Instituto Colombiano de la Reforma Agraria, como reservas territoriales especiales del Estado, los terrenos baldíos situados en zonas aledañas o adyacentes a las exploraciones y explotaciones petroleras o mineras, los cuales en consecuencia, no podrán ser adjudicados a ningún título a los particulares. Tales tierras baldías sólo podrán reservarse en favor de las entidades de derecho público cuyo objeto esté directamente relacionado con las actividades de exploración y explotación petrolera o minera.

Implementation Measures of the Shanxi Province on the "Land Administration Law of the People's Republic of China".

These measures propose to strengthen land administration, the protection of land rights, and to improve utilization of land in Shanxi. Chapter I provides for administration of land. The local government shall restrict conversion of land for agriculture to land for construction. Chapter 2 concerns ownership of land and land use rights. The Province shall implement a land registration system in accordance with the Law. Chapter 3 makes provision for comprehensive land utilization plans to be drawn up by local governments. Chapter 4 contains provisions for the protection of farmland.

Public Land (Removal of Squatters) Law, 1981

This Law allows a person empowered in writing to enter public land in order to examine the possession or use thereof and the right of the possessor or user to use it. Under sections 4 a person empowered may require information not in his possession relating to the public land by requesting the possessor or user to deliver the information. In case of unlawful public land occupation and under ascertainment the unlawful occupier may be requested to relinquish and such an order may be treated as a judgment for ejection.
